RPS, a Tetra Tech company, is looking for an EIA Consultant to join one of our busy offices in Oxford, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff or Manchester. The role is hybrid and can be full time or part time.About The Team
Our EIA team is working on exciting projects in the UK and internationally, including offshore and onshore wind farms, solar and battery storage projects, airports and data centres. We provide opportunities to gain experience across a range of project types and sectors.What You Will Be Doing
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support project managers and project directors on large-scale projects.Independently produce EIA screening and scoping reports and introductory chapters of an Environmental Statement (ES).Attend project meetings with topic teams and internal and external clients.Manage client programmes, including complex survey programmes.Review ES deliverables for quality in preparation for client or legal review.Collaborate with digital and design teams to develop capacity in digital EIA.Who We Are Looking For
You should have excellent writing skills, be able to work collaboratively, and have strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. A first degree in a relevant environmental subject is required, with an MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management or related area preferred. Some consultancy experience and an understanding of managing EIA projects are desirable. A desire to work in the renewables industry is advantageous. A full UK driving license is required as some travel is expected.Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field.At least one year of consultancy experience or completion of a graduate scheme in a relevant field.Technical skills in an EIA topic are beneficial but not essential.What Is In It For You
