Overview
Educational Psychologist position with City of Wolverhampton Council / WMJobs. Salary: Soulbury Scale A 3-8 £47,688 - £57,954 (plus up to 3 SPA points). Contract type: Full time, permanent contract (part time and temporary may be considered). Work style: Field; work across communities in the city. The service provides a broad range of psychology to promote inclusion and positive outcomes for children and young people and leads on and contributes to various projects and pathways.Responsibilities
Contribute to a strong, supportive team of Educational Psychologists (EPs).Engage in project and development work in areas of interest, including leading or participating in projects such as ATTUNE, the whole school trauma informed project, ELSA, and the EBSNA pathway.Provide commissioned support to multi-agency pathways (e.g., autism pathway, youth justice service, virtual school).Apply psychology to promote inclusion and positive outcomes for children and young people, with a realistic time allocation model that maintains achievable workloads.Participate in and lead project work while also delivering statutory and core responsibilities as needed.Work within a values-led service that is focused on being child-centred, inclusive, collaborative, solution-focused, empowering, and anti-oppressive practice.Qualifications
Must be HCPC registered (or in the 2nd or 3rd year of the doctorate).We welcome applications from Year 2 and 3 Trainee EPs as well as qualified EPs.We particularly welcome applicants from minority ethnic groups or other groups underrepresented in the profession.This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.Requirements and Additional Information
