Key Responsibilities As an EDS Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing electrical systems for future vehicle platforms, ensuring they meet the performance, safety and reliability standards expected in demanding off-highway environments. Designing and developing 12V, 24V and high-voltage (up to 600V) electrical systems for heavy-duty vehicles. Creating and maintaining vehicle wiring harnesses using CAD tools such as Zuken E3 and Siemens NX. Supporting the development of electrical and electronic system architectures. Specifying electrical and electronic components for vehicle applications. Applying safety-critical design principles throughout the development lifecycle. Planning and carrying out testing and validation of electrical systems and components. Producing technical specifications, engineering standards and installation documentation.
