Your new role

Starting your teaching career is an exciting time, but choosing the right school can feel like a big decision.
Many ECTs start on supply, giving them the opportunity to build confidence, gain experience across different year groups and develop their teaching practice in a variety of settings. It can also be a great way to get your foot in the door with local schools and find an environment that suits you.

Alongside day-to-day supply work, we can also support ECTs looking for longer-term placements, maternity cover and teaching opportunities in schools that are able to support them through their induction period.

What you''ll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS before September
• Teaching experience gained through recent placements
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Willingness to learn and develop as a teacher
• Flexibility and adaptability
