Early Years Teaching Assistant - Supply

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support an Early Years class in a welcoming Primary School in Moseley. This role offers the perfect blend of nursery-style learning within a structured school environment, on a supply basis.

• Support children within an Early Years classroom
• Assist with phonics, play-based learning, and early development
• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
• Work closely with the class teacher to support daily routines

Working on supply gives you flexibility and variety:

• Ideal for those transitioning from nursery into schools

• A relevant qualification such as:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification (CACHE/NVQ/EYE)
• A valid Paediatric First Aid qualification (essential)
• Experience working within Early Years (Nursery or Reception)
• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach

• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through TeacherActive)
• Ability to provide 2x recent professional references
