Early Years Practitioner (L1Z3) Education Qualified Department: Children and Learning Service Area: Children s Family Help and Safeguarding Early Years Children s Centres Role Type: Temporary / Project and One-Off Workload Peak Hours: 27.5 hours per week Role Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join a Children s Centre team within the Early Years service. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality early years provision, helping young children develop their learning, communication, confidence and social skills. You will work closely with children, parents, carers and other professionals to promote positive outcomes and ensure children receive appropriate support during their early years. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality early years education, care and developmental support to young children. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children''s learning and development. Support children''s personal, social and emotional development. Encourage language, communication, physical development and early learning skills. Observe and assess children''s progress and contribute to appropriate learning and development plans. Create a safe, stimulating, inclusive and welcoming environment for children. Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
