Early Career Teacher Specification
We are currently seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to work in a supportive, one-form entry, OFSTED ''Good'' school in Walsall on a full-time and long-term basis. Our client is looking for an ECT to work within Reception (EYFS). The successful Early Career Teacher will benefit from a well-structured induction programme, guided by experienced in-school mentors, high-quality ongoing CPD, and a nurturing school environment that actively promotes learning, reflection, and professional development.
Working as an ECT in our client''s school, you will be expected but not limited to:
- Plan, mark and assess differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum,
- Work collaboratively with staff
- Parents and all those in the school community
- Attend staff meetings including CPD
- Have high expectations of behaviour and motivate pupils through high-quality teaching and management.

Requirements:
- You must be a qualified Primary Teacher with QTS
- A passion for working with young children
- Have a nurturing approach and the ability to support young children effectively
- Hold a Level 1 Safeguarding qualification
- Be dedicated to the progress and well-being of young learners
- Have an active enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)
