NWEHWe are seeking a highly motivated and creative Dynamics 365 / Microsoft Power Platform developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. This role will focus on creating tailored workflow and data solutions, system integrations, and providing technical expertise for business improvement initiatives. OverviewRole: Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer

Responsibilities

Solution Development and Customization

– Create and manage custom entities, workflows, business processes, and plugins within D365.

Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Dynamics 365 (D365).

Improve and define processes for bug fixes, test planning, release and deployment management, working with Solutions Partner and internal Data and Quality teams.

Collaborate effectively to ensure well-defined requirements capture, planning and corresponding test plans for all development work.

User Support and Training

– Align processes with internal Quality, Customer Service and IT teams.

Partner closely with Business Solutions Partner, Business Delivery Managers and other stakeholders to ensure user needs are met and training materials are provided.

System Integration

– Work with technical teams to integrate D365 with internal and external systems using APIs, Power Platform Connectors, Azure Logic Apps, etc.

Data Management

– Collaborate with IT and Data function to ensure data integrity and security within the Azure Power Platform and D365 environments; ensure compliance of data handling in a regulated environment. Understand Dataverse and data modelling principles; knowledge of connectors, integration techniques, and Microsoft Dataverse/Azure components beneficial to Power Platform solutions.

Work with external consultants in the design of new Microsoft solutions and functionality; contribute to value and case statements for escalation.

Contribute to internal and customer-facing project activities, working with a wide range of business colleagues.

Build effective relationships with Quality, IT and Data teams; challenge existing thinking and provide new approaches within a regulated environment.

Business Requirements Analysis

– Work with Business Solutions Partner to translate business requests into technical requirements and delivery plans.

Create curated data sets and develop actionable insights for business functions through Power BI and insight-to-action workflow models.

Identify opportunities to create business value and positively impact decision making; support and develop Power BI visualisations where required.

Roadmap Development

– Contribute to departmental strategy; share knowledge and ideas to enhance customer value and improve collaboration and outcomes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Proven professional experience developing and customizing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and D365.

Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and D365 customization and configuration.

Knowledge of Azure, Dataverse, SQL and DAX.

Knowledge of ALM practices; Continuous Delivery and Continuous Improvement.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-SME stakeholders.

Experience working in a highly regulated industry, and/or with highly sensitive data.

Experience of systems integration – web API and connectors.

Ability to manage a range of internal stakeholders.

Awareness of cost and budget implications of decision making.

Genuine interest in data and analytics – exploring new ways to deliver insight.

Knowledge of Jira (Project/Service Management), Azure DevOps or similar.
