Domestic and Commercial Heating Engineer

SDG Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Ltd is looking for an experienced Domestic and Commercial Heating Engineer to join our growing team working in Beds, Bucks, Cambs and Herts. The successful candidate will undertake installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of heating systems across a range of domestic and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities • Install, service, maintain and repair domestic and commercial heating systems. • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs. • Work on boilers, heating controls, pumps, cylinders, calorifiers and associated equipment. • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works. • Complete installation and commissioning works to the required standards. • Undertake oil-fired heating work where suitably qualified and experienced. • Work on a variety of heating systems across domestic, commercial and publicsector premises. • Complete electronic service sheets, reports and other relevant documentation accurately. • Identify additional works and report defects or recommendations to the office/client. • Liaise professionally with customers, clients and other contractors. • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant legislation, manufacturer requirements and company procedures. • Follow company health and safety procedures and complete required RAMS and site documentation.
