Dispatcher

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our clients team and contribute to the efficient coordination of goods movement and timely deliveries. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication with drivers and staff while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time position involves working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, totaling 40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of -12.21. Please note that there is no parking available on-site. This role is temp to begin with, with potential for a long term role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack coffins and caskets accurately and efficiently for courier collection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dispatch area.
• Manage packaging inventory and place orders as needed.
• Receive, inspect, and process deliveries into the facility.
• Assist with preparation of coffins and caskets for production.
• Perform stock control activities to ensure inventory accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications

• Physically capable of moving around the facility and lifting as required.
• Competent in the use of power and hand tools.
• Demonstrates a polite and professional telephone manner.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to learn and undergo full training for coffin and casket preparation, as well as stock control.
