Role Description
Live Nation UK’s Research and Insights Team is seeking a resourceful and driven team player to join as a Director of Research and Insights. This role combines a passion for live music with expertise in research methodologies, data analysis and data synthesis. The RandI team is dedicated to empowering the business with a deep understanding of our live music fans. As a Director of RandI, you will collaborate across departments to enhance the event experience and provide actionable insights that help us better connect and engage our audience.The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, skilled in connecting and synthesising multiple data sets and sources to uncover key insights. You will report into the Head of Research and Insights to lead on RandI initiatives across the UK business, translating data into impactful strategies with a clear commercial focus. Your ability to integrate diverse data streams will enable the business to make informed, strategic decisions that drive growth.

Live Nation UK Marketing Partnerships architects, sells and manages the company’s national corporate sponsorship programmes with world-renowned brands. It’s an exciting, fast-paced team that collaborates with all facets of Live Nation’s business including festivals, venues, touring, ticketing, artists, content, media, promotions, and concert production.The Marketing and Creative Solutions team, our in-house strategy and creative experts, work with the sales team to form strategy, big ideas and business solutions for brands. Through needs analysis, fan insights, research of the client and their audience, and internal ideation sessions, the team crafts a strategic music marketing platform designed to solve brand objectives and KPIs. Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Proven experience in market research and/or consumer insights from either client/agency sideExpertise in advanced quantitative methodologies (e.g., MaxDiff, Conjoint, Segmentation), analysis and translating research into actionable insightsStrong knowledge of qualitative methodologies, including drafting discussion guides and moderating focus groupsProficiency in synthesising data from various sources, including social media listening tools, and integrating data into cohesive reportsExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and dashboard creation for decision-makingHands-on experience with data using Excel, SPSS, SQL, PythonProficiency in social media listening tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker)Strong communication skills with experience crafting and presenting research findings clearly and persuasively to diverse and senior audiencesExperience managing data analysts

Support the Head of R+I with the democratization of insights across the business, empowering teams to use data to meet objectivesLead the strategic direction of custom quant and qual first-party data analysis and research projects, helping to uncover insights that drive business objectivesDistill complex data into clear, actionable insights with measurable impactOversee the full lifecycle of market research projects, including methodology recommendations, survey designs with a commercial focus, identifying key audiences, generating cross tabs and impactful insightsPresent clear and concise research findings to key stakeholders, including C-suite and cross-functional teamsConsolidate and integrate multiple data sets, including social media insights, into unified dashboards for strategic decision makingManage and lead social media listening strategies, ensuring key brand sentiment, trends and consumer feedback are captured to inform business decisions
