This newly created position will report to the SVP of Accounting and play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s technical accounting framework and internal controls environment. The successful candidate will act as the organisation’s subject matter expert on US GAAP and SEC reporting, overseeing the preparation of technical memos, developing and implementing accounting policies, and advising senior stakeholders on complex transactions including MandA, revenue recognition and inventory accounting. You will also assume ownership of the company’s SOX implementation programme, working closely with external advisors and internal teams to ensure effective design, documentation and testing of internal controls over financial reporting.Requirements / Skills
The role requires a technically strong accounting professional with significant post-qualification experience, ideally gained within a large practice environment followed by in-house roles in a US-listed or fast-growth company. You will bring deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting, hands-on experience in drafting technical memos, and exposure to SOX/internal control frameworks. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment are essential.Why this opportunity
