Director of Sales - Cambridge

Purpose:
To drive commercial performance and take full ownership of sales targets across assigned Locke and Cove properties in the Cambridge London market, delivering exceptional revenue growth through strategic account management and targeted new business development.Reporting to: Senior Director of Sales – UK, you will be based onsite 5 days a week, with core hours of 9-5 (40 hour working week).Responsibilities
Develping and executing property-level sales strategies aligned with OKRs to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets across your Cambridge London portfolioDelivering against ambitius B2B revenue targets with full personal accountability for resultsDedicating apprximately 25% of your efforts to direct revenue generation through hands-on account management - identifying growth opportunities, increasing market share, and maximising yield from existing clientsAllcating 75% of your time to high-impact new business development - personally identifying, pursuing and closing new corporate clients that deliver significant incremental revenueImplementing rigrous account planning to systematically grow revenues from existing and new B2B customers across all channels including direct corporate clients, Travel Management Companies (TMCs), Serviced Apartment Booking Agencies (SABAs), consortia and other B2B intermediariesActively pursuing revenue pportunities across all segments including corporate, groups, MandE, mid and extended stayWrking collaboratively with the Key Accounts Team, Groups and MICE Team, and wider Commercial Team while maintaining personal ownership of revenue targetsMaintaining disciplined use f CRM and edyn''s database with meticulous attention to data quality and pipeline managementPrviding detailed, data-driven reporting to key stakeholders on sales activity, pipeline development and revenue performanceStrategically netwrking at high-value events, exhibitions and conferences to build influential relationships within the Cambridge London marketPersnally hosting FAM trips, property showcases, sales presentations and events to drive business to your propertiesEnsuring rigrous adherence to all internal processes for effective account managementMaintaining cmprehensive, up-to-date records with accurate client information in all databasesPrducing actionable management information from internal systems to support strategic decision-makingRequirements
In this role you will need the following:Experience:4 years previus hotel experience across multiple European / international jurisdictions looking after £3m plus of annual businessPrven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets in hospitality or related sectorsSignificant hspitality sales and strategic account management experience with demonstrable resultsEstablished Cambridge Lndon market knowledge with active network of industry contactsCmprehensive understanding of the business travel industry, with specific expertise in the hospitality and serviced apartment sectorSkills:Exceptinal commercial acumen with proven sales achievementSuperir relationship-building capabilities with C-suite decision makersAdvanced prblem-solving and negotiation skillsStrategic planning and rganisational excellenceOutstanding written and verbal cmmunicationAdvanced prficiency in business technology tools for sales presentations and reportingDemnstrating advanced proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM and Power BIAttributes:Resilient, tenacius mindset with unwavering focus on resultsCmprehensive understanding of Locke and Cove''s business model and brand positioningDeep alignment with edyn''s business bjectives and valuesSelf-mtivated with ability to work independently while collaborating effectivelyDetail-riented with strong analytical capabilitiesDriving Licence f advantage, but not essentialValues
