Director of Finance

An ambitious, values-driven organisation is seeking an outstanding Director of Finance to lead its finance function through a period of transformation and growth. Reporting into the CFO you will play a pivotal leadership role within the organisation. You\''ll lead a talented finance team, act as a trusted advisor to the executive team and drive forward innovation in financial systems and reporting.Responsibilities

Developing and delivering a long-term financial strategy aligned with organisational goalsLeading budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and modellingOverseeing statutory reporting, audits and compliance with charity finance regulations (SORP, Companies Act)Managing treasury, reserves, investments, pensions and tax complianceBuilding and leading a high-performing finance team (approx. 30 colleagues)Supporting major projects, tenders, partnerships and financial due diligencePartnering with senior leaders on income generation and cost optimisationLeading improvements in financial systems, data accessibility and digital toolsContributing to sustainability goals and climate-conscious financial leadershipQualifications
