Digital Trading Lead

to join us on a

12 month fixed-term contract . This position supports our retail banners with the execution of effective trading strategies, customer journey optimisation to enhance conversion rates, driving operational improvements and providing critical insight to our Own Exclusive Brand (OEB) teams for product and range strategies. The successful candidate may be based at any of our UK sites (Paddington, Southampton, Yeovil) with an expectation of 2–3 days a week in the office; the team meets every Tuesday at our Kingfisher Head Office in Paddington.OverviewKingfisher is a large, diverse group with a broad portfolio of brands and a commitment to customer-centric growth. This role focuses on trading analytics, performance insights, and collaboration across banners and group teams to optimise digital growth opportunities and drive core KPIs.Responsibilities

Utilising analytics to report and anticipate market trends and inform trading strategies.Supporting and executing analysis of promotions and campaigns, evaluating the effectiveness of different digital marketing channels and supporting demand-led budgeting.Supporting Banners and Group teams to identify online growth opportunities through product/range performance reviews and gap analysis.Supporting the research and analysis of competitors as well as benchmarking of competitor pricing strategies.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on digital priorities, ensuring unified execution of group-level strategies.Acting as the point of contact for all Group Digital trading matters, mentoring and upskilling banner digital trading teams on analytics, tools, data interpretation, and insight generation.Presenting complex data and insights through strategic storytelling to senior leadership.Managing relationships with third-party partners and supporting the Head of Ecommerce during contract renewals and new contract processes.What the job

Demonstrable practical experience and expertise within a commercial environment: onsite digital trading and optimisation (focus on traffic, conversion and AOV); BAU trading problem-solving with cross-functional teams; category and range strategy development; strong commercial and retail knowledge with analytical skills to influence core KPIs; proven experience of sales and profit growth; experience in a multi-national, agile environment with effective central/local collaboration; strong commercial and financial acumen; excellent presentation and communication skills for board-level audiences.Beahaviours
