The focus is automation: building out Dev, Test and Live environments, and the CI/CD pipelines that move software safely between them within a secure, controlled estate.Design and build Dev, Test and Live environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines in on-prem GitLabAutomate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and AnsibleRun containerised workloads on Docker and KubernetesBuild DevSecOps practices in from the start: secure configuration, scanning, vulnerability, access and secrets managementSet up monitoring, logging and alertingTroubleshoot deployments and support rollback, recovery and disaster recoveryProduce the documentation and assurance evidence that secure delivery needsWhat you''ll bringDevOps or platform engineering experience in defence, aerospace, government or another secure sectorStrong on-premises infrastructure experience (this role is mainly on-prem, so a purely cloud background won''t suit)A solid understanding of the security requirements that come with secure environmentsA track record of building CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment setups, ideally in GitLabTerraform, Ansible, Docker and KubernetesScripting in Bash, Python or PowerShellComfort working to governance and ..... full job details .....
