DevOps Engineer

Venesky-Brown''s client, a public sector organisation in Swindon, is currently looking to recruit a DevOps on a permanent basis on a salary of £43,130 - £44,000/annum. This role offers remote working. Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable and highly available environments on Microsoft Azure.- Operate and optimise App Services, networking, and load balancing for .NET web applications.- Manage DNS, CDN, WAF and edge configurations via Cloudflare.- Improve reliability via autoscaling, health checks, disaster recovery strategies, and failover.- Evaluate and refine caching and session management for horizontally-scaled architectures.- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using ARM, Bicep or Terraform.- Implement deployment strategies such as blue/green and zero-downtime deployment slots.- Manage DevOps pipelines including secure handling of client keys.- Support rollback automation and resilient deployment flows.- Support the management and development of the Power Platform to meet business improvement objectives.- Configure monitoring, dashboards, tracing and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.- Track and remediate application errors including HTTP 500 responses.- Manage server performance analysis and log reviews.- Implement IAM, secrets management, TLS and other security controls.- Manage Firewall rules, private endpoints, WAF, IP allow/deny lists and bot protection.- Application gateway.- Server performance and logs.- Application ..... full job details .....
