Development Planning Highway Technician

Our client, a specialist consultancy in the highways and transport planning sector, is seeking a Development Planning Highway Technician to support development planning projects on a contract basis. The role will focus on producing accurate technical drawings and CAD documentation for highway and infrastructure schemes.Key Responsibilities:Preparing highway and transport-related drawings using CAD softwareSupporting development planning and infrastructure design projectsProducing detailed technical plans, layouts and associated documentationWorking from engineers'' designs, technical information and project specificationsUpdating drawings in line with design changes and client requirementsCollaborating with engineers, transport planners and project teamsEnsuring drawings are accurate, clearly presented and compliant with relevant standardsJob Requirements:Experience working as a Highway Technician, CAD Technician or similar role within the highways sectorStrong knowledge of highway design and development planning principlesProficiency in CAD software and the production of technical drawingsUnderstanding of highway layouts, access arrangements and infrastructure plansGood attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical informationEffective communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a project teamContract Details:This is a contract opportunity supporting development planning and highways projects within a ..... full job details .....
