Job Description: Desktop engineerLocation: Blackfriars Road, LondonHours: cover between 0700 and 1900 pm (7.5 hours per day)Requirements: SC Clearance and DV for MOD sites Our Ring-Fenced Team comprises of 15 engineers covering the London area for sickness, holiday cover, Resource on demand requests and project requests. The RFT covers several different customer accounts including government and banking customers so you will be required to gain clearances for several different customers including Government SC and DV.Senior Customer Engineers provide intermediate to advanced level desktop installation, configuration, support and troubleshooting services. Senior Customer Engineers can also provide basic Wintel server installation, configuration, administration, and break fix repairs. A Senior Customer Engineer is hardware and software skilled and accredited through the appropriate vendor training programs.Required to work on MOD so rules regarding nationality will apply. Willingness to drive a vehicle supplied by customer on occasion where required to travel to different customer satellite sites so clean driving license required• Ability to quickly learn and support basic Desktop and Laptop hardware and software in a W10/Win11 environment. HP, Dell and Lenovo.• Mac OS experience and knowledge, desktop and Mac Book• Good MS office products experience - Office 365 and Teams.• Experience of using Apple, Android and other mobile devices.• An understanding of wireless connectivity ..... full job details .....
