As Design Manager, you will take ownership of the design process from pre-construction through to handover. You’ll work closely with consultants, architects, and project teams to ensure the timely delivery of design information that meets buildability and budget requirements.Responsibilities include:Leading the design process across multiple live and pre-construction projectsCoordinating design consultants and internal teamsEnsuring compliance with planning, building regulations and client specificationsDriving value engineering and buildability solutionsManaging technical approvals and change control processesWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience as a Design Manager with a main contractorStrong technical background across various construction sectorsAbility to lead and challenge design teams effectivelyExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable managing multiple projects simultaneouslyWhat’s On Offer:Salary between £65,000 – £85,000, depending on experienceFull benefits package including car allowance, pension, and healthcareOpportunity to work with a top-tier contractor on high-profile projectsCareer development and progression within a stable, growing businessDetails
