Design ManagerSurrey - working across 2 projects in the Southern regionContract1st Step Solutions is working on behalf of a leading contractor to appoint a Design Manager for two projects in the Southern Region.Responsibilities:Focus on technical, cost, program, delivery, and resilience aspects.Lead the internal and external design teams and manage the Design Tracker and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).Coordinate with global colleagues to ensure consistent design delivery and methodologies across projects worldwide.Chair meetings to discuss innovations, new design methodologies/technologies, and standards across all project regions.Liaise with utility consultants regarding site utility availability, planning, application, quoting, and phasing.Conduct due diligence exercises for real estate clients prior to site acquisition, focusing on data center master planning and construction.Engage with local consultants to review designs for compliance before submission to local authorities.Assist in defining construction phasing strategies and master planning based on utility availability on ..... full job details .....
