Design Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Director / Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team in developing innovative mechanical solutions that drive our business forward. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of mechanical design engineering. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will have previously worked in a start-up and be able to thrive in such an environment. The role is offered with a salary of £75 - £90K Duties Oversee the design engineering department, ensuring effective project management and adherence to timelines. Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical design solutions. Manage and mentor junior and senior members of the design engineering team Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
