Design Engineer

A manufacturing client located in Clacton-On-Sea are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is a permanent position, paying between £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending upon experience). Overview: As a Design Engineer, you will be required to manage multiple projects from concept through to completion. Duties: You will be required to lead and manage project priorities and deliverablesLiaise with the engineering, project, buying and manufacturing teams internally, throughout the project lifecycleProvide technical guidance, coaching and drawing reviews for junior designersLook at continuous improvement methods where possibleDfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) across all projectsDevelop automated design tool models, whilst also revisiting existing design applications Candidate requirements: Good understanding of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principlesProficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks or Autodesk InventorTrack record in managing multiple projects at onceStrong decision making and communication skillsOver 5 years experience working as a Design Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment Company Perks: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Wellbeing programmes and initiativesUp to 20% bonus of base salary, based on companySalary sacrifice schemes, such as cycle to work plus much moreAuto Pension EnrolmentAdditional holiday allowance given for long service within the company If you believe that you would be ..... full job details .....
