About the Role:
A forward-thinking secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a dedicated Design andamp; Technology Teacher to join their innovative DT department from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to specialise in Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Product Design, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality DT lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Develop pupilsandrsquo; practical skills and creativity through hands-on projects.
- Prepare KS4 students for GCSE success with strong subject knowledge and assessment.
- Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum and extracurricular STEM/DT activities.
Requirements:
- QTS with experience teaching Design andamp; Technology at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more specialisms (e.g. Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, Engineering).
- Ability to inspire students and foster innovation, independence, and resilience.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and engaging workshop environment.
