The Role

The DT Teacher will:

• Deliver high-quality, inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3-5, fostering a deep appreciation for design thinking and practical craftsmanship.
• Employ creative and experiential teaching methods, including user-centred design, rapid prototyping, and interactive project-based learning.
• Empower students to conceptualise, design, make, and evaluate innovative products and systems with confidence.
• Actively contribute to the wider school community through design clubs, engineering challenges, and entrepreneurial initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified DT Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:

• Possesses an ardent passion for design, technological innovation, and transformative teaching.
• Is exceptionally skilled in devising creative and hands-on learning experiences that deeply engage students.
• Demonstrates a proven ability to differentiate instruction to both support and rigorously challenge learners across the full spectrum of abilities.
