Deputy Manager Ofsted Regulated Home in Mitcham Croydon South London CR0 3DNDeputy Manager Required for our 4 bed Ofsted Regulated Home in Croydon supporting 8-18s with EBD and challenging behaviour.This role promises not only to shape the future of the lives of children and young people but also to be part of an established Children''s Care Organization that is fully committed to meeting these unique needs.Requirements for Deputy ManagerDiploma L3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent)Willingness to complete Diploma L5 LandM in HandSKnowledge of CHR 2015 and the QSAwareness of Equal Opportunities/ADP issuesKnowledge of the Children Act and other relevant legislationTeam-building skillsSupervision skillAbility to manage teams effectively.Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.Understanding the needs of looked-after children including managing challenging behaviour.Excellent organisational skills 12 months relevant supervisory experience24 months experience of working in a residential setting with and managing challenging behaviour.Salary for Deputy Manager : Competitive 40 hours per week annual salary £40to £42k2 shifts 2 admin daysYou will be required to be flexible in your hours supporting the children the staff and the ManagerDeputy Manager Key Responsibilities:Assist and support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the residential care of the Ofsted registered home, to provide a high quality service which meets the individual needs of the children and ..... full job details .....
