Deputy Manager - EBD Children''s Home (CM22)Purpose: Support the Registered Manager in running a high-quality, safe, and nurturing home for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Lead the team, uphold standards, and ensure excellent care.Key ResponsibilitiesLead shifts and oversee daily operations.Support staff supervision, training, and performance.Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.Maintain compliance with Ofsted and Children''s Homes Regulations.Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support.Build positive relationships with young people and professionals.Manage rotas, medication, and household routines.Act as senior lead in the Manager''s absence.Essential RequirementsLevel 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent).Working towards/willing to complete Level 5.Experience in EBD residential care.Strong safeguarding and behaviour management knowledge.Confident leader with excellent communication skills.Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and on-call.DesirablePrevious deputy/senior experience.Full UK driving licence. ..... full job details .....
