Looking for a step up into leadership with a provider that values quality, development, and care? This is a fantastic opportunity to become Deputy Manager in a home where you'll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead practice, support staff, and ensure children thrive.

 

About the Role:

• Support the Registered Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the home
• Deputise in professional and administrative functions, including staff supervision and rota planning
• Help deliver high-quality care and development for children and young people
• Ensure strong recording practices using ClearCare and other systems
• Lead on safeguarding concerns and liaise with external professionals
• Support medication administration, key working, and behaviour management
• Help manage finances, compliance, and staff inductions
• Provide hands-on leadership during shifts, while balancing household and administrative duties

About You:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
• At least 1 year’s relevant residential experience (2 years preferred)
• Strong communication and leadership skills: verbal, written, and practical
• Calm, resilient and compassionate, with a genuine commitment to child welfare
• Confident supporting staff and managing incidents appropriately
• Full manual UK driving licence essential
