JCO Healthcare is supporting a well-established care provider in the search for a Clinical Deputy Manager to join the leadership team of a 49-bed nursing home in Chadwell Heath.

The Opportunity
Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the service, supporting clinical governance, team development, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of resident care while creating a positive and supportive environment for staff and residents alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall management and operation of the service
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams
- Promote high standards of person-centred care and resident wellbeing
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments and clinical governance processes
- Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities
- Lead audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with recruitment, supervision, training and staff development
- Support occupancy, staffing and rota management
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- Assume responsibility for the service in the Home Manager''s absence
About You
- NMC Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid PIN
- Experience as a Clinical Lead, Unit Manager, Senior Nurse or Deputy Manager within a nursing home environment-
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements and clinical governance
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care and resident outcomes
- Confident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, proactive and capable of leading by example
