Deputy Headteacher

A well-established and highly supportive Specialist SEN School in Lewisham, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking an experienced and driven Deputy Headteacher to join their leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a school supporting pupils aged 5–25 with Autism, Speech & Language needs, and SEMH.

• Deputy Headteacher
• Full-time
• Long-term or permanent (depending on suitability)
• Lewisham

You will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to support the day-to-day running of the school and drive high-quality SEN provision.

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting staff development and performance
• Leading on behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion
• Ensuring strong teaching and learning across the school
• Supporting a curriculum tailored to pupil ability

• Specialist SEN provision for pupils aged 5–25
• Good Ofsted rating
• Strong focus on Autism, Speech & Language and SEMH
• Excellent CPD and ongoing training opportunities
• Highly collaborative team – strong staff support throughout

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• SEN school experience
• Leadership or middle leadership experience
• Strong understanding of inclusive SEN provision
