We are looking for a Depot General Manager to lead and develop the operations team, drive service quality, cost control and performance against targets and KPIs, and uphold the Delivered Exactly promise.Job Summary

Represent DX in a professional manner at all timesLead, manage, develop and motivate the managers and employees staffing the physical operationsMaximise the service, cost and quality performance of the siteEnsure targets and KPIs are achieved, and where possible exceeded, through effective control, monitoring and reviewIntroduce and execute productivity improvements to promote increased efficiencies and service and quality performance in the operationCommunicate, implement and maintain company policy and procedures throughout the siteEstablish and deploy robust control mechanisms to facilitate all site spend in line with company procedure and agreed budgetsDevelop and manage commercial relationships with customers and suppliers through the maintenance of service/product processes to deliver excellent customer service; promoting organic growth and reducing customer attritionParticipate in cross-functional teams to identify and deploy pipeline improvements to underpin overall Company business objectivesLead employees through change activity by deploying and implementing positive communication plansImprove site and employee standards through development, training, communication, fair and consistent implementation of discipline proceduresEnsure all employees and contractors or owner drivers comply with the appropriate vetting criteriaFully deploy performance management by setting stretching but achievable objectives for the management teamPersonal Skills
