Reporting into the Head of Operational Strategy, PandC, the Strategic Delivery and Planning Lead plays a central role in enabling the effective operation of the PandC Operational Strategy function. Working closely with the Head of Operational Strategy, PandC and functional leads, this role ensures the team’s priorities are well-defined, coordinated and delivered to a high standard.The role combines structured project oversight, strategic planning and analysis and high-quality communications to drive alignment and execution. Acting as the operational backbone of the team, the role requires a strong blend of analytical thinking, excellent organisation and the ability to distil complex information into clear, actionable insights. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a delivery-focused role, enjoys working across multiple initiatives and jurisdictions and is looking to develop in a strategic operations or planning career path.Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and CoordinationMaintain and manage the functional roadmap and team delivery planFacilitate quarterly/annual planning cycles and track alignment to OKRs or prioritiesCoordinate dependencies and milestones across all pillars of Operational Strategy2. Project Coordination and Operational CadenceRun project trackers and reporting rhythms across multiple streamsDrive planning and delivery for recurring forums (e.g. pillar syncs, Ops Leadership updates)Prepare high-quality supporting materials and syntheses for leadership input3. Communication, Analysis and ReportingTranslate complex delivery updates into crisp, strategic reporting decksSupport creation of storytelling materials for internal stakeholders and leadership audiencesSupport the Head of Operational Strategy, PandC with strategic analysis in support of functional goals and objectives4. Team Rhythm and GovernanceSupport design and execution of team routines (team meetings, retros, showcases, planning days)Maintain risks/issues/actions logs and documentationHelp embed light governance without bureaucracyCoordinate updates and inputs from other functions (Risk, Ops, Tech, etc.)Build effective working relationships across teams to accelerate deliveryAct as a reliable interface for queries, data gathering and alignment requestsQualifications
Required experience and competenciesExperience working in a PMO, strategic project support or planning role (internal (re)insurance or consulting)Communication: Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences (confident with presentation decks, data, storyboarding and reporting to executive leadership teams)Highly organised with excellent deliveryStrategic mindset but is happy owning detail and executionAbility to adapt to changing business environments and drive continuous improvement.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.A forward-thinking approach with a passion for driving innovation and operational excellenceOccasional travel to SCOR overseas offices may be required.Required EducationMinimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in an analytical disciplineAbout Us
