Data Solution Architect

Overview

We''re looking for an innovative Data Solution Architect to join our Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) division. You''ll be part of a dynamic team driving transformation through cloud-native data solutions that improve customer engagement and deliver meaningful insights. Working alongside platform architects, data product owners and engineering teams, you''ll help define the technical direction of our data strategy. This role offers the opportunity to work on pioneering projects using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, while mentoring others and contributing to a culture of learning and growth.Responsibilities

Architect and deliver cloud-native data solutions on GCP to support systems of insight and engagementOwn the migration of legacy platforms (Teradata, SQL Server) to GCP-native toolingDesign and implement reusable data products for analytics, reporting and client engagementCollaborate with stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical architecture and delivery roadmapsDefine and implement data governance standards including metadata management and access controlsSupport DevOps practices using tools like Terraform, GitLab and Cloud BuildQualifications

Confirmed experience as a Data Solution Architect with hands-on expertise in GCP and/or AzureStrong proficiency in GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer and LookerExperience migrating data from legacy platforms to cloud-native environmentsExpertise in data modelling, pipeline development and real-time data streamingFamiliarity with event-driven architecture, API integration and microservicesKnowledge of CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and GitLabBenefits
