To £70,000 pro rata (depending on experience) Echo Managed Services are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Migration Project Manager on a 6-month FTC basis. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, technical expertise in data migration tools and platforms, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.The Role
You will join the Echo team working on an inflight implementation of our latest product, a cloud-based SaaS billing solution built around the Salesforce platform. As a member of the Echo Professional Services team, you\''ll play a pivotal role in the implementation of software to our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in driving excellence, improving processes, and providing client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines for all data migration activitiesCommunicate project updates, risks, and challenges clearly and effectively to all stakeholdersCoordinate cross-functional teams across multiple locations to meet project milestonesProvide mentorship and direction to data analysts, developers, and business analystsTailor governance frameworks to meet internal and client expectationsManage risks and issues, maintaining RAID logs and mitigation plansTrack and report on project budget, ensuring spend aligns with forecasts and targetsApply expertise in data migration tools, SQL, and cloud platforms (preferably Salesforce)What You’ll Need
Proven track record of managing large-scale data migration projectsExtensive experience in the utilities sector, ideally within water or energy environmentsStrong command of ETL processes, including data mapping, transformation logic, and validation protocolsProficient in SQL, data migration tools, and cloud-based platforms (preferably Salesforce)Skilled in data governance, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycleDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project timelinesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiencesExperience working in client-facing roles, particularly within outsourced service delivery modelsFamiliarity with GDPR and data protection standards relevant to customer and billing dataWhat You’ll Get In Return
