Data Insights Lead

Key Responsibilities: Lead the Data and Insights function for the National Pensions Connection Service, providing strategic direction for reporting, analytics, monitoring and performance management. Develop and communicate a clear vision for how data and insight will support operational performance, service improvement and long-term strategic objectives. Establish and maintain a single, trusted source of performance information across the pensions dashboards ecosystem. Lead the production of executive reporting, performance insights and data-driven recommendations for senior leadership, governance boards and external stakeholders. Ensure the service maintains robust data governance practices, including data quality management, metadata standards, reporting controls, auditability and compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee relationships with regulators and government stakeholders, supporting reporting obligations and the provision of accurate, timely and transparent information. Work closely with Data Engineering, Product and Architecture teams to ensure reporting and analytical requirements are incorporated into data products and platforms. Lead the development of self-service reporting capabilities that enable users to access trusted information without reliance on bespoke analysis.
