Data Centre Engineer - Milton Keynes. Qualified Electrician needed for a large data centre specialist. Working alongside the network / ICT Data Centre Engineer, you will provide the electrical expertise to the data centre.You will be responsible for providing electrical expertise and carrying out equipment installation and troubleshooting, as well as routine inspections and maintenance of critical infrastructure including power, cooling and network systems.Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain all HV and LV systems, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols.Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and BMS.Conduct HV switching operations as per Safe Systems of Work.Respond promptly to technical issues, diagnosing faults, and implementing repairs.Maintain up-to-date records and logs of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Oversee and execute hands-on preventative maintenance on site infrastructure, either directly or through vendor management, including managing the permit to work system (UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems).Qualifications

Qualified Engineer - 17th or 18th Edition.You will come from a Critical background or other engineering maintenance environments, such as Pharmaceutical, Power stations, Banking, Industrial or Maritime engineering.You will have hands-on experience of covering the planned and reactive maintenance to single and three-phase power, UPS, power generators, lighting, HVAC plant, air conditioning, etc.Previous experience in data centre or critical environment settings is ..... full job details .....
