As Data Architect, Data Products, you will design and maintain the data architecture, focusing on data products, ensuring data is well-organized, secure, and accessible, and implementing data mesh principles.Key Responsibilities:Design and oversee data architecture to support business goals and ensure data consistency.Collaborate to design and operate high-quality data products, incorporating semantic modeling, metadata, and cataloging.Lead the implementation of data mesh principles for managing data as a product.Ensure data security, governance, and compliance.Manage data integration across sources and domains.Work with data engineers and scientists to align data architecture with business needs.Stay updated on emerging data technologies and recommend new tools.Optimize data system performance, scalability, and reliability.Qualifications:Expertise in data modeling, lakehouse design, and data mesh architectures.Proficiency in dbt, SQL, Python/Java, Apache Spark, Trino, Airflow, Astro.Experience with AWS cloud technologies.Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Proven experience in complex data ecosystems.Additional Information:We offer competitive salaries (£65,000-£75,000), health and wellbeing benefits, pension, and lifestyle perks.
