Damp and Mould Team Leader (Surveying Team)Rate: 475- 500 per day Contract: Interim Location: London Directorate: HousingMMP Consultancy is currently recruiting for an experienced Damp and Mould Team Leader to join a leading Housing service on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished surveying professional to lead the response to damp, mould and condensation cases across a large residential portfolio, ensuring compliance with Awaab''s Law, the Building Safety Act 2022, and wider housing health and safety legislation. This role will lead a team of surveyors, driving service performance, safeguarding residents, and ensuring that all cases are managed proactively, effectively, and within statutory timescales.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team responsible for investigating damp, mould and condensation cases across the housing stock.Carry out complex property inspections, diagnose building defects, and identify root causes.Ensure compliance with Awaab''s Law, the Building Safety Act, HHSRS and all relevant landlord obligations.Prepare technical specifications, schedules of works and cost estimates for remedial repairs.Oversee contractors and consultants, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.Monitor budgets, performance indicators and compliance reporting.Support disrepair claims, complaints investigations and legal proceedings through technical evidence and expert advice.Work closely with housing, ..... full job details .....
