Damp, Mould and Condensation SurveyorHertfordshire 350- 400 per day 6-Month Initial ContractWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Damp, Mould and Condensation (DMC) Surveyor to join a local authority housing team in Hertfordshire on an initial 6-month contract.This role will focus on diagnosing damp, mould and condensation issues across residential properties, managing remedial works, and supporting a proactive approach to property maintenance and resident safety.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily property inspections and surveys relating to damp, mould, and condensationDiagnose building defects and identify appropriate remedial solutionsProduce drawings, floor plans, and specifications for improvement worksRaise and manage works orders using appropriate systems and procurement proceduresSupervise contractors on site and ensure works are completed to required standardsEnsure compliance with health and safety legislation and statutory requirementsSupport proactive block surveys and wider preventative maintenance initiativesAssist with service improvement and transformation projects across the DMC serviceRequirementsProven experience carrying out damp, mould, and condensation surveys within housingStrong knowledge of building pathology and property maintenanceExperience managing contractors and supervising works on siteUnderstanding of health and safety and housing compliance standardsStrong communication, reporting, and organisational skillsAbility to manage a busy ..... full job details .....
