You will be seen as a trusted advisor and help our customers achieve their digital transformation objectives through the design, delivery, and optimisation of secure, high-performing hybrid infrastructure environments.The role will require the Cyber Security Consultant to be/have:Proficient in developing and designing secure solutions and documenting security controls in a Security DesignAn understanding of cyber security design principles to ensure solutions meet industry standardsAn understanding of frameworks and complianceThe Ability to work with risk management processes and articulate the risks and benefitsAn understanding of networks and cloud environments is advantageousComfortable creating design documentation and presenting to clientsKey Responsibilities:Specialised technical knowledge and experience of cyber security as evidenced by relevant industry qualifications (e.g. GICSP, GCIP, CISSP, CISM)Knowledge in cyber security frameworks and standards as well as a deep understanding of cyber security regulations as they apply to different sectorsAnalysis and management of risks and cybersecurity controls. Standards and methodologies: ISO 27000, NIST, SANS CSC, etc. • Understanding of Infrastructure, Networking and Cloud environmentsKnowledge in Identity and Access ManagementKnowledge in Backup and Recovery technologies and installationPrevious experience working with or within an Incident Response team is advantageousYou will be required to pass the Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Security Clearance as set by Warwickshire PoliceAt Sword we are growing our ever expanding customer facing cyber security team.
