Customs AgentLocation: EMGPay: £29,000 - £31,000 annually Hours:11:30am - 07:00pmTHE ROLEWe are looking for a Customs Agent to join our clients Road Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customs-related exceptions and supporting the smooth movement of shipments through customs processes.You will work closely with internal teams, customers and relevant stakeholders to identify, investigate and resolve customs issues efficiently, while ensuring that processes remain compliant and service levels are maintained.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Manage and resolve customs exceptions affecting road logistics shipments.• Investigate customs-related issues and identify the appropriate solutions.• Monitor shipments and follow up on outstanding customs requirements.• Liaise with internal departments, customers and relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.• Ensure customs information and documentation are accurate and complete.• Support the smooth and timely movement of goods through customs processes.• Escalate complex or unresolved issues when required.• Maintain accurate records and provide updates on customs exceptions.• Work in line with relevant customs, compliance and operational procedures.• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce recurring customs exceptions.ABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will be organised, detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.You will be confident dealing with exceptions and ..... full job details .....
