Customer Solutions Manager - 12 months contract, Global Media and Entertainment, Telco Programme | Job ID: 3077115 | AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch).You will be a trusted advisor to your customer. You will leverage your program management, technical, organizational, and transformation expertise to understand your customer''s business and strategic goals, translate them into an executable plan, and drive the implementation to success by working with the customer, AWS, and our partners. You will understand your customers'' biggest IT challenges, and provide prescriptive guidance, based on AWS best practices, to guide them through the obstacles.
Responsibilities
Working with organizations in all stages of their cloud adoption, Customer Solutions Managers (CSMs) are advocates guiding customers through the value realization, enablement, and governance of their cloud transformation journey.
Value Realization: identify and accelerate the customer’s realization of value throughout the cloud lifecycle through the adoption of AWS services, AWS partner solutions, AWS best practices, and other.
Enablement: help customers achieve organizational cloud readiness, cloud fluency and cloud skills through skills guilds, experience-based accelerators, training partners, and other.
Governance: establish and mature operating models/structures to drive scale and long-term success through the application of AWS frameworks and mechanisms.
A day in the life
Operate in an inclusive environment with work/life harmony and career advancement as part of a diverse, global community of Customer Solutions Managers delivering cloud solutions that transform customer business and IT.
Balance time between directly engaging with customers, partners, internal AWS teams and services to guide customers on their AWS Cloud journey.
Collaborate across AWS to apply technical, business, and program management expertise to solve complex technology problems for customers.
Identify strategic opportunities for the customer’s cloud journey including large-scale migrations, data analytics, digital transformation, business agility, and more.
Interface with partner and cross-functional teams, customer teams, and pre/post sales to drive discussions and align on cloud adoption and migration strategies.
Create, manage, and deliver business and technology projects while navigating risks or roadblocks in ambiguous environments.
Share best practice learnings as reusable internal assets to evolve the AWS customer experience and the CSM role.

QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience driving customer initiatives including customer facing experience, leveraging technology to deliver projects
Previous experience in project management and delivery and/or program-management
Demonstrated technical breadth in AWS and/or cloud fundamentals
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in external customer-facing role(s) with UK Telco customers, good understanding of how the Telco industry operates
AWS certification(s) and/or other cloud provider certification(s)
1+ years implementing AWS/cloud services
PMP or project management related certification (SCRUM/Agile, Prince2, PgMP, Six Sigma, SAFe etc.)
Effective communication skills (active-listening, verbal, written, and presentation) including progress updates, risk management, execution planning, metrics establishment/tracking, presentations, technical content, public speaking and white papers
