Customer Service Representative

A client of ours in the Bury St Edmunds area are recruiting a Temporary Customer Service Representative to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time temporary position working Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am - 12.30pm, paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.Your key duties in this Customer Service Representative role will include but are not limited to:Processing customer enquiries, quotations and orders accuratelyEntering and managing customer orders using an ERP systemLiaising with Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Shipping teams to meet customer requirementsProviding customers with updates on order status, delivery schedules and tracking informationPreparing and issuing customer documentation as requiredDelivering excellent customer service via email and telephoneMaintaining accurate records with a high level of attention to detailSupporting quotation follow-ups and assisting with customer returns where requiredSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role:Previous customer service, order processing or administration experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or supply chain environmentStrong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional telephone ..... full job details .....
