Customer Service Manager 

Location: Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire
Salary: £45K

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm or 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week

Fully officed based

We are recruiting for our client, a well-established business looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead and develop their internal sales team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys motivating people, improving processes and making a real difference to the customer experience. You will play a key role in supporting the team, driving performance and helping the wider business achieve its goals.

What you will be doing

• Lead, motivate and develop the internal sales team
• Set and monitor KPIs, targets and performance reviews
• Support sales growth and maintain strong commercial awareness
• Build excellent customer relationships and understand their needs
• Work closely with sales, logistics, warehousing and other departments to ensure a smooth service
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and make things work more efficiently
• Organise training and support the development of team members
• Use CRM systems to maintain accurate information and support the department

What we are looking for

• Previous management experience within customer service or internal sales
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
• Experience using CRM systems, with Kerridge being a bonus
• A commercial mindset and strong customer focus
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
• Someone who enjoys working with people and making a positive impact
