Customer Service and Export Team Lead
An established international manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Export and Customer Service professional to lead a small team and manage complex global export operations.This is a hands-on role where technical export knowledge is absolutely critical. You''ll oversee worldwide shipments, customs compliance, export documentation, logistics coordination and customer service operations while supporting continuous improvement across the department.The business exports globally and requires someone confident dealing with international shipping regulations, VAT compliance, Incoterms and freight movements across air, road and sea.You''ll also supervise a small team, support operational improvements and work closely with finance, manufacturing and sales functions to ensure orders move efficiently from receipt through to delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a small Customer Service and Export teamManage international customer orders and export processesEnsure compliance with global export regulations, customs and VAT requirementsCoordinate shipments via air, road and sea freightManage export documentation and shipping paperworkLiaise with freight providers, customs agents and internal departmentsMonitor pricing, margins and shipping costsSupport audits and compliance activitiesDrive continuous improvement and process efficienciesWork closely with ERP/MRP systems and support system improvementsExperience RequiredStrong experience within export ..... full job details .....
