We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a fast-paced and growing waste management company based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and delivering exceptional support to customers.

You will play a key role in supporting customers with enquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from start to finish.

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Handling inbound customer calls and emails
• Assisting customers with service enquiries, bookings, and account queries
• Resolving customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently
• Liaising with internal departments including operations and transport teams
• Updating customer records accurately on internal systems
• Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent service
• Ensuring all administration and compliance processes are completed correctly
• Supporting the wider team with general customer service duties

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous customer service or call centre experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Confident using computer systems and CRM platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Experience within waste management, logistics, transport, or service industries would be advantageous but not essential
