Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team at their Head Office in Redditch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, resolving queries, and ensuring customers receive a first-class experience throughout their journey. You'll play a key role in coordinating communication between customers, installation teams, and internal departments to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Advisor, your duties will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their installation process
- Providing a professional, friendly, and solution-focused service at all times
- Making regular outbound calls to customers and installation teams to provide updates and resolve any issues
- Working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on track
- Updating and maintaining customer records accurately within the CRM system
- Monitoring installation progress and ensuring any concerns or complaints are addressed promptly
- Supporting the achievement of departmental and individual performance targets
- Contacting customers regarding outstanding payments once work has been completed
- Assisting with customer complaints and helping to deliver effective resolutions
- Maintaining reports, trackers, and internal systems to ensure all information is up to date
- Communicating confidently via telephone, email, and written correspondence
- Providing support to colleagues and covering responsibilities when required
- Representing the business in a professional and positive manner at all times
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a customer service, customer support, or customer care environment
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport easily
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook
- Experience handling payments, credit control, or financial administration would be advantageous
