Customer Service Coordinator
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at an important stage of its development. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers and ensuring a consistently high level of service across the business.
While the position is initially offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis, the business is actively looking to expand, so there is a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent for the right person as the organisation continues to grow.
The Role
As Customer Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day customer service activities, acting as an important point of contact for customers and supporting the wider team to ensure queries and requests are handled efficiently and professionally.
Your responsibilities are likely to include:
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email and other relevant channels.
- Coordinating customer requests and ensuring they are followed through to resolution.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Providing accurate and timely information to customers.
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Managing and updating customer records and relevant systems.
- Monitoring outstanding queries and following up where required.
- Identifying and escalating issues appropriately.
- Supporting the wider team with general coordination and administration.
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of customer service processes and standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, organised and proactive, with a genuine desire to provide a high standard of service.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in customer service, customer coordination, housing, property, construction, or a similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- A professional and approachable manner.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Good attention to detail.
- Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office.
- A positive, flexible and solution-focused approach.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
