Tailored Recruitment Partners are working with an a logistics business in Bradford to recuit a Customer Service Advisor on a temporary to permanent basis.
Reporting into the Customer Service Manager your daily duties will include:
- Process and manage customer bookings accurately and efficiently.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key accounts.
- Manage customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfactory outcomes.
- Ensure customer requirements are consistently met while delivering a high standard of service.
- Support client retention initiatives by fostering positive customer relationships.
- Produce and maintain KPI reports and performance metrics where required.
- Assist with a variety of customer service and administrative support activities.
- Contribute to continuous service improvement and operational efficiency.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous customer service experience is essential; experience within the transport or logistics industry would be advantageous.
- A customer-focused approach with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Ability to remain positive and professional in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritising workloads when required.
- Reliable, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, courteous, and confident telephone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
