Customer Service Administrator
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join an established manufacturing business based in North Lanarkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, sales order processing or supply chain administration who enjoys working in a busy operational environment.
Working as part of the Customer Service and Supply Chain function, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from receipt through to delivery. You will work closely with customers and internal Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics teams to help maintain a high level of service.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

Processing customer orders accurately, including orders received manually and through EDI systems.

Communicating with customers regarding orders, deliveries and general enquiries.

Working closely with the Sales team to coordinate customer requirements and order fulfilment.

Allocating available stock against customer orders.

Supporting the coordination of daily deliveries and despatch schedules.

Booking deliveries to external locations and liaising with logistics providers.

Preparing export documentation and commercial invoices for international shipments.

Producing shipping manifests and pallet labels.

Processing GRNs and POD documentation.

Supporting sales invoicing and maintaining accurate transactional records.

Monitoring shortages and communicating any stock, warehouse or transport issues that could affect customer deliveries.

Maintaining accurate customer and order information across internal systems.

Providing general administrative support across the Customer Service and Supply Chain function.
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food manufacturing, distribution, warehousing or another supply chain-led environment.
You may currently be working as a Customer Service Administrator, Customer Service Coordinator, Sales Administrator, Sales Order Processor, Supply Chain Administrator, Logistics Administrator or in a similar position.
You should be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience within customer service, sales order processing or supply chain administration.

Experience processing customer orders within a busy working environment.

Strong customer communication skills, both written and verbal.

Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
-
A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.

Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.

Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.

Experience using ERP or order-processing systems.
Previous exposure to EDI ordering, logistics, despatch, export documentation, stock allocation or Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be particularly advantageous.
Working Hours
This is a full-time, site-based position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
